We both had very different goals; I was focused on recovery after three pregnancies within 6 years and my husband was focused on weight loss and strength training. She had very different workout styles with each of us. His was much more HIIT and heavy weights whereas mine was a mix of heavier weights and barre type exercises using resistance bands and sliders. The first time I noticed a change in overall strength and back pain was when my daughter came running to me and I was able to pick her up easily and twirl her around with no back pain! There was also a moment when she saw me pulling laundry out of the washing machine and noticed big “bug bites” on my arms. They were my first muscles. Each workout session was challenging as she incorporated different exercises. She also started working with our 14 year old son when he had specific rehabilitation goals and collaborated with his personal trainer.
